IOOK Web Page Update
Several Update Completed
Howdy IOOK!
Mike and I worked on a number of updates this morning.
We have finally set up an IOOK Memorial page which was part of the plan when we established the Candle Light Ceremony last year at "The Gathering Of The Faithful". It is still under construction, but is well along the way to being up to date. You can find this page by clicking on the link
on the home page called "Memorial".
Some time ago I noticed that a lot of clubs have a link to their Field Day activities. Even though we are a non club group, we do have a number of Field Day related pages, but, they we somewhat hidden at the bottom of each year's History page. To bring those Field Day activities a bit more to the forefront, we have set up a Field Day page that links you directly to each of the Field Day activities we have on file. You can find those links on the home page by clicking on "Field Day".
If you have a Field Day activity that you would like to add to the page, just send me some pictures and some dialogue describing the pictures and I will see that they are added. I know that a lot more of you have been involved in Field Day activities than those that are listed.
Finally, we also updated the APRS links page. Please check to see that the link to your APRS station is correct. Also, if you have an APRS station that is not listed, please let me know the call sign and SSID and whether it is a mobile station or fixed station and we will be happy to add it/them to the listing!
Mike and I had a great session this morning, "AND it was productive!" :-)
