IOOK Eating Song

Howdy IOOK!

Yes, as we know, the IOOK travels on it's stomachs, so it is only appropriate that we not only have a theme song, but also an eating song! You can view the Eating Song by clicking on the Photo Page and then click on Eating Song.

Also, since the recent change of servers, we lost our IOOK Movie files. Some of those have been restored to the Photo Page as well! I am sure more will be coming.

IOOK Web Page Updates....finally!

Howdy IOOK!

Well, we are experiencing some technical difficulties with web page updates. For some reason my server will not talk to the web site server so I can do web page updates. Today I went to Lou, N8KXM's and we managed to update the following web pages:

In the Photo Page:

"Shacks Now" has been updated to include K4UUU's current shack.

"Antenna Farms" has been updated to include K4UUU's slinky antenna and NN3V's 30/40 meter upgrade to his SteppIR beam.

"NN3V's Add On" shows the process of putting together the add on SteppIR kit and the installation.

"WE1L's Big Win" shows Bob, Jr's (formerly WF0E now K4UUU) certificate naming him the big world wide winner for a 160 meter contest that took place before he changed his callsign (again).

In the Memorial Page:

A memorial to K8BSC has been added.
A memorial to WA1WPI has been added.

I apologize for the tardiness of all these changes being added.

Things SHALL be fixed one way or another!

Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful flower arrangement for Mom's
funeral. It meant a lot to all the family. The pastor of Mom's church
asked if we would leave that arrangement at the church so it could be
enjoyed by the entire congregation during the week. We were happy to
comply. Mom always asked to be remembered to the IOOK whether on
schedules or at our gatherings. It was good of you to have remembered
her at this time.

Does KBob Have A Twin?

This evening I attended the GT-ARPSC (GT stands for Grand Traverse County) Meeting in Traverse City.

It seems to a lot of us that W8JUK must have a long lost twin brother! It was a lot like having KBob there in person, rather than the flat version we have all come so accustomed to seeing!

Yep! There have been some updates made to the IOOK Technology Page!

First of all, KBob's new "Inverted Vine Antenna" is presented to the Technology Center. You can see this by going to the IOOK Technology Page and then click on "Projects" and then click on "Inverted Vine Ant."
